Black Youth Outreach United
B-You was born out of the need for a coordinated and united youth sector focused on helping Black youth navigate the complexities of life through a cultural lens by providing them with culturally relevant programs and services by individuals who also identify with their lived experiences. Whether it’s case management, easy referral systems, workshops, trips or culturally relevant resources, B-You centres will serve as a hub where youth can find the support they need to grow and succeed in life. Whether a youth is new to Canada or they have lost their way in life and need guidance in navigating local support systems, B-You is here to help.
This program and initiative was developed by Frontlines. Frontlines serves as the umbrella organization for other organizations under the B-You Movement providing them with organizational mentoring, seed funding, evaluation and administration to run programs similar to Frontlines in addressing the main issues of employment, academic achievement, mental health, positive community connections with an overall goal of addressing violence amongst Black youth.
We have already established two centers through our partners Back2Basickz in Scarborough, and Change the Outcome in Regent Park. We are awaiting the opening of the space for Malton with our next partner Helping Hands. This has been made possible through the generous support of the Public Safety of Canada.
With YOUR SUPPORT, we plan to reach more youth across Toronto and Canada. Together, we’re building a community that uplifts and empowers Black youth to reach their full potential.

Back2Basickz is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and developing underserved youth in the community to achieve success. Through various programs and initiatives, Back2Basickz provides a safe and nurturing environment where youth can access the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to thrive. From educational support to personal development workshops, this organization is committed to empowering young people to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. C.T.O (Change The Outcome) Child & Youth Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting children, youth, and families who face challenges within Ontario’s Public Education System. C.T.O. provides critical support through advocacy, counseling, and tailored programs designed to help young people overcome educational barriers and succeed academically. By addressing the unique needs of each child and family, C.T.O. works to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive within the school system.
