Dicle, a newcomer to Canada, was born and raised in Turkey. She has experience in gender-based violence and child protection programming and policy development in multiple country contexts, including Canada, Turkey, and Jordan.

She specializes in trauma-informed approaches to qualitative research. Dicle has managed programs targeting women and children at UNICEF, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and grassroots organizations. Her work experience also includes inter-agency coordination and advocacy with the government.

She holds a Master’s degree in Law and currently co-hosts a podcast with an intersectional approach to gender equality. Dicle is dedicated to working towards the needs of marginalized communities through collectiveness and joint advocacy.
